Cafe for Jesus in the Heart of the City

Today we will rest from the usual posts we publish on my blog. We will feature a cafe that is put up for Jesus. This post tackles the opening of Citycup Cafe in the heart of Laoag City, Philippines.

According to a friend, it's the first ever cafe that has the right to be called a cafe in the heart of the city. (Photo Credit: Ritchelle Dejolde)
Are you looking for a new place where to hang out with friends?

Citycup Cafe has just opened in the heart of Metro Laoag. It's located beside the old Ranada hospital along Rizal Street.

There are several goodies on the cafe's menu that I love and have experienced to the hilt. I devoured the Vietnamese Pho like a child sipping his first soup! The Pho's beef is the most tender thing.
Right in front of me and my wife is the mouth watering Vietnamese Pho. I finished a bowl in a jiffy! :)
The flavor is authentic Vietnamese topped with the spices that go with it. The truth is I was tempted to take a second serving!

Another favorite is The Bangus Slider. It's the best fish sandwich I have ever tasted.

The bread especially baked by the resto is superb. The combination of milkfish and tartar sauce with the right mount of spices makes for a filling meal.

After enjoying the food, I sampled the Vietnamese Drip Coffee. If you like your brew strong, I recommend it. And the creamy taste is non like the one from Starbucks. It has this Asian flavor to it that will make you proud to be from the East. I'll go with you and have a cup, anytime.

let's talk about the ambience.

It has this unique combination of rustic chic and the affluent, luxurious feel of a tony eat place in New York. The place is not too big and not constricting, either. It's a nice place to have an intimate dinner with special people like family and friends.

All in all, Citycup Cafe is the most authentic Cafe that has ever opened its arms to the Ilocanos. You'll surely miss big time if you'll not drop by the place anytime soon.
