Bananas and a Dirty Vagabond

One day, I went harvesting bananas. Secretly, a dirty little vagabond followed me. Although, I noticed him right away, I continued walking, pretending not to have seen him.

I allowed him to get closer, and closer, and closer 'til he was able to grab one banana from my sack. He gobbled it up instantly after getting it into his hands. I don't need to tell you that he was starving, right?

After that, he attempted to steal another one, but I suddenly turned around and told him, "Stop! Don't steal! I can give you three more pieces of banana," I told him kindly. "You don't need to steal, you just have to ask me, nicely," I added. He smiled and ate more bananas.

The next day, I went to harvest again and the dirty boy watched me from afar. When he was able to muster the courage, he came to ask me nicely for a banana. It was my chance to sit down and talk with him and teach him to plant. I taught him how to plant bananas and he was happy. He was grateful. And he continued to plant bananas for many many years.

After ten years, I chanced upon him. He was not dirty like before, and he was wearing expensive clothes. He now has a wife and children and he lives in a big house.
